Antoniy Petrov is responsible for providing quantitative leadership in asset allocation, portfolio construction and strategy design.
He joined Kieger in March 2020, bringing more than 10 years of financial industry and investment experience. Prior to his current role, Tony was a Vice President at Barclays, where he led the portfolio construction R&D and implementation effort within the Investment Solutions division. He also spent 6 years at Aberdeen Standard Investments as multi-asset portfolio engineer and systematic hedge fund analyst. Other previous roles include derivatives strategist and quantitative equity analyst at Aviva Investors.
Tony holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Economics and Mathematics, with first class honours, from Texas A&M University (US), as well as an Associate of Science degree with honours in Business Administration from the State University of New York (US). He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Statistics from University College London (UK). Throughout the years, he has been awarded numerous academic distinctions in economics and finance, including the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award.
