Bernhard Binzegger

Bernhard Binzegger has been working in the financial sector for over 40 years. The certified accountant and licensed audit expert started his career at an auditing company in the KPMG Group. After working in various positions at Kontroll- und Revisionsgesellschaft AG and at ATAG Ernst & Young – both of which are auditing companies in the field of financial services – in 1996 he decided to become self-employed as an independent service provider. In addition to his auditing work, he also held various other mandates, including as a management board member, a member of boards of trustees and a liquidator.
Bernhard Binzegger was a member of the Swiss Chamber of Auditors and Tax Experts from 1975 to 2013, during which period he was a member of the Professional Ethics Committee (court of honour) for 13 years and Chairman of the Bank Audit Committee for seven years.
