Panagiota Balfousia is responsible for the firm-wide sustainable investment framework and corporate social responsibility strategy.
She has 14 years of experience in financial services, of which 11 in the asset and wealth management industries, with a focus on investment and ESG due diligence. Prior to joining Kieger, she was responsible for the selection of higher yielding and multi-sector credit funds at UBS Global Wealth Management, where she helped develop and launch unique impact strategies with a focus on engagement. Before that, she was senior portfolio manager at Altis AG (a subsidiary of NN IP), where she was primarily responsible for fund selection and sub-asset class allocation within credit. Her early professional years were spent as an economist at a large regional bank based in Athens, Greece.
Panagiota holds two Master degrees in policy analysis and economics, has completed post-graduate studies in Mathematics and is currently studying for a Master of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance at the University of Zurich. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation, and has completed the ICMA Fixed Income Certificate.
