Our chart shows the development of fatalities over the last 2 decades. Despite a growing population, Malaria case numbers have remained stable. But more importantly, there are now 278,000 fewer Malaria fatalities annually compared to the year 2000. A decrease of 31%. A proof, that prevention and treatments do work. However, we need to see more effort from Pharma companies and new sustainable businesses focussed on fighting Malaria should be created.
