Putting sustainable investment into practice

Our Senior Equity Analyst Dr Thomas Kaufmann contributed to the 4th edition of “Nachhaltiges Investment Schweiz 2020”, a leading yearbook for professionals with an affinity to environmental, social and ethical investment themes. Essays on various aspects of those themes are provided by leading personalities from the finance, politic, economy and NGOs sectors, and leading asset management players active in the field of ESG present their strategies and approach.

Dr Thomas Kaufmann’s contribution focuses on Kieger’s traditionally long-term orientation and how ESG considerations have been incorporated in our investments over the years, before we decided to implement a more systematic process that takes the various aspects of sustainability and impact investing into consideration across our clients’ portfolios. Our profound expertise in the Healthcare sector allows us to identify relevant investments across the ESG and Impact continuum and to integrate them into our bottom-up process, combining the best of both worlds.
