He has 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Kieger, he ran his own business, founded in 2010 and later acquired by financial software company DST Inc., providing consulting and services in the application of technology to optimise investment management processes. Before that, he worked as analyst, portfolio manager and head of research for various companies in London, including Ivy Asset Management (Bank of New York). He began his career with Nedbank Group in Cape Town, in software development as well as treasury and asset management.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town (South Africa), an MBA from the UCT Business School (South Africa) and a Master of Science in Mathematical Trading and Finance from the Cass Business School in London (UK). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and also holds the CFA Institute Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).
